I recently stayed at the charming Garni Elena in Losone while exploring the stunning region of Ticino. The cozy, family-run bed and breakfast is nestled in a tranquil setting, just a stone's throw away from the vibrant village center. The housekeeping was impeccable, and the spacious rooms boasted new bathroom facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay.One of the highlights of my visit was the breathtaking view of the nearby Alps from my private terrace, overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean garden and heated swimming pool. The staff, fluent in multiple languages, were exceptionally friendly and always ready to assist with any inquiries or recommendations for extended hikes in the mountains or along the rivers.The property's covered terrace provided the perfect spot to enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet served from 08:00, while the sun terrace beckoned for a relaxing day by the seasonal outdoor pool. The hotel's ideal location near the golf course Gerre Losone and just a short distance from Ascona made it a convenient base for exploring the picturesque surroundings. The attention to detail, peaceful ambiance, and pet-friendly amenities available made it a truly memorable stay. Whether you're seeking a tranquil retreat or an outdoor adventure, this hidden gem in Losone offers a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration.
